About Us
Heartland Habilitative Services, LLC (HHS) is a Specialized Agency Provider for Developmental Disability Services licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. HHS is a family owned and operated company founded in 2011 by brothers James Scott and Arthur Scott. Drawing upon their more than 22 years of experience in working with special education, developmental disabilities, and juvenile services, the brothers re-think some of the traditional methods of service delivery in favor of highly-structured programs with fewer restrictions and a greater focus on skill development and community inclusion.
HHS's mission is to assist adults and children with IDD to reach their maximum level of independence through comprehensive programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual served through our residential, vocational, and community services.
We believe in our philosophy that all people deserve the same opportunities to enjoy life as any other citizen. At HHS we will advocate, inspire, and commit to make our philosophy become a reality for the individual.
In-home and Community Inclusion Support
- Individuals can receive services in their own home, group home, Extended Family Home, or community.
- Individuals and their families will choose from a menu of service options available through the Department of Health and Human Services.
